Meghan Markle hits new LOW in popularity polls as King Charles slips
The latest YouGov tracker shows the Duchess of Sussex has reached her lowest favourability rating to date.

It’s a tough week for the House of Windsor according to the latest YouGov favourability tracker. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has recorded a net rating of -48, the lowest score ever recorded for her by the pollster.
King Charles is also feeling the pinch; while 58% of Britons still view him positively, his net favourability of +24 is the lowest since he ascended the throne four years ago. Negative opinions of the Monarch have risen to 34%.
It’s not all bad news for the firm, however. The Prince and Princess of Wales remain the nation's sweethearts, maintaining high positive ratings between 72% and 74%, according to the October 2026 data.
Despite the dip for the King and the Sussexes, the monarchy itself remains stable. 64% of Britons believe the UK should continue with a Royal head of state, while only 25% want an elected alternative.
