A villain at No. 1? How very DC. Warner Bros and DC’s Clayface topped the box office with a $24 million opening, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

But it wasn’t the only film with something to celebrate: Deadline reports that A24’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary, You Can See Everything, gained ground in its second weekend.

The documentary grossed 25 per cent more in weekend two than it did on its debut, according to Deadline — a tidy boost for its follow-up outing.

And there’s awards chatter, too. You Can See Everything is now being discussed as an Oscar contender, Deadline reports, though buzz is no nomination.

So while Clayface claimed the box office crown, per The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline’s report gives the Holmes documentary a weekend talking point of its own.
