Aisling O’Reilly welcomes first child with husband Colm Maginn
The GAA+ and RTÉ sports star has confirmed the arrival of her 'greatest teammate' following a creative reveal at Croke Park earlier this year.

It’s a win for the home team! Popular sports presenter Aisling O'Reilly has officially announced the arrival of her first child with husband Colm Maginn. The broadcaster, who is a familiar face to fans of GAA+ and Premier Sports, shared the happy news with followers on Monday, November 2nd, according to Evoke.ie.
The new arrival follows a clever pregnancy reveal back in June, where the Meath woman used a GAA football to unveil her baby bump while reporting from the All-Ireland quarter-finals at Croke Park. At the time, she told fans that their 'greatest teammate' was on the way, according to the Irish Mirror.
Aisling and Colm tied the knot two years ago in a sun-drenched ceremony in Portugal. Since then, her career has gone from strength to strength after she set up her own production company in 2024, leading to what she previously described to RSVP Live as the busiest year of her professional life.
While the specific Irish name chosen for the little one has set tongues wagging among the Irish showbiz set, the couple are reportedly over the moon to be starting their new chapter in County Down. Congratulations to the new parents!
